Our History

1955

Kilsyth Medical Group was established in 1955 by Dr Ken Leversha, practicing from his home (which is now the child care centre next door).  The surgery extended into our current building a short time later with Dr John Monkman joining the practice.

1973

Dr Harbans Gupta graduated in 1966.  He joined the practice in 1973 with extensive experience in areas such as acupuncture, anaesthesia and renal medicine, having completed the first part of specialist physician training.  In 2016 he celebrated 50 years practicing medicine! In December 2020 and after 48 years of service to the Kilsyth community, Dr Gupta decided it was time to retire.
